Most of us have experienced dizziness before from getting up too quickly or maybe getting on a ride at an amusement park. But, when even one part of your system constantly feels off, it can cause you to become dizzy often.

Dizziness is a term used to describe sensations such as uneasiness or feelings of being unbalanced. If it seems as though your surroundings are spinning, you may have vertigo.

Becoming unexpectedly dizzy can make doing your regular daily routine more difficult. You don’t want to be driving a car or walking your dog and suddenly feel faint. With care from our team, adjustments and manipulations can help to alleviate your vertigo symptoms.

Some other symptoms of vertigo that you may experience include:

  • Lightheadedness

  • Headaches

  • Fainting

  • Double vision

  • Sweating

  • Nausea

The types of vertigo are benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) which is usually triggered by head movements and cervical vertigo, which is caused by joints that don’t move properly. Depending on which one you have, our specialists may use:

  • The Epley maneuver to move your head in different positions

  • Manipulations to realign your joints

No one likes to constantly feel uneasy, but with chiropractic care, we aim to help you relieve your symptoms for optimal health.
